Happy Samhain!

On this Autumn Night of Samhain.

We celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year.

As the seasons change, so goes the cycle of death and rebirth.

Tonight we celebrate the death of the old year and the birth of the new.

We listen to the lessons the dead have to teach us.

Take this time to comment on this page, discuss those who have died,

and what lessons they can offer you.

  1. First I think of my grandmother. She was a very spiritual and open minded person. In her time – back in the 60’s and 70’s – she was speaking out against racism and homophobia. She raised 5 children and ridiculous number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I also think of my other grandmother who remained smart as a tack and independent till the day she died. At 86 she was doing Geneological research.

My grandfather on my mom’s side was a Magician and I never got to know my grandfather on my dad’s side.
